Tohoku University's Advanced Research Center for Innovations in Next-Generation Medicine (INGEM) welcomes applications for the position of professor.
Successful applicants will conduct research that helps further the aim of establishing future medicine, especially centered around personalized medicine and healthcare based on genetic and environmental information.
INGEM was established in 2017 as a hub for next-generation medicine, bringing together the university's preeminent research capabilities such as information science, basic life sciences and genomic medicine. It seeks to promote research on data science; explore the relationship between genetic factors, environmental influences, and diseases; and support human research development in those areas.
